Spelling Bee

Niallspelling beeeasons

Congratulations to Niall in 6th class who represented our school at the Eason’s Spelling Bee county final. Niall beat off stiff competition from his own class to win our in school competition! The Spelling Bee was an intense and extremely competitive event but Niall did us proud.

Congratulations Second Class!

Huge congrats and well done to all the boys and girls in Second Class who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday in Brooklodge Monastery. We had a beautiful mass and thankfully the sun shone for your special day. You all did an amazing job and we are so proud of you. Hope you and your families had a fabulous day.

Thanks to Fr Enda Howley for celebrating the mass, the Eucharistic Ministers, Anna Maher (the organist) and to all the children who participated in the choir. Thanks also to Cian, Michael and Shane for serving the mass.

Many thanks to our  photographer John Williams. If anyone would a full-sized e-mail version of the class photo, please contact John –ballygluninphoto@gmail.com.

Here are some photos from our mass on Saturday.

National WOW Day

Crumlin N.S. students and parents are going from strength to strength each week with record breaking numbers of people walking this Wednesday for National WOW Day. A total of 100 students walked/part-walked to school this week donning some very fetching costumes, hats and posters. Massive thanks to all who made the effort and well done to all our little artists. Hopefully we have helped Green-Schools Ireland break their record of 20,000 children, all over Ireland walking to school. Congrats to 5th Class who won The Golden Boot this week!
